KLOW Blend Overview
The KLOW Blend is a four-component research formulation within AXION’s Regenerative System. It is not a supplement and not a protocol. It is a research design decision: a single vial engineered to enable the simultaneous investigation of four mechanistically distinct pathways within the regenerative cascade.
Each component enters the cascade at a different point. GHK-Cu acts at the level of extracellular matrix remodeling and collagen synthesis signaling. BPC-157 engages the vascular axis via VEGFR2/eNOS, with documented pleiotropic effects across multiple repair contexts. TB-500 acts on actin dynamics and cell migration through the Tb4–MRTF-A pathway. KPV modulates the inflammatory environment at the level of NF-κB transcription, with 47 indexed publications at the time of this document.
The rationale for combining these four compounds is not synergy — there is no published evidence demonstrating combined potentiation. The rationale is complementarity of phase: each peptide occupies a non-overlapping position in the regenerative sequence, and none of their primary mechanisms are redundant.
KLOW Blend Research Directions
- GHK-Cu:
– Collagen and elastin synthesis — TGF-β1 upregulation, fibronectin and laminin production in fibroblast models
– Extracellular matrix remodeling — differential regulation of MMPs and TIMPs across wound contexts
– Antioxidant signaling — Nrf2 pathway activation and SOD/catalase upregulation in oxidative stress models
– Wound repair — angiogenesis promotion and keratinocyte migration in skin models
– Neurotrophin expression — BDNF and NGF upregulation in neuronal research contexts - BPC-157:
– Musculoskeletal repair — tendon, ligament, muscle, and bone physiology in rodent preparations
– Vascular function and angiogenesis — VEGFR2/eNOS axis, vasomotor tone, ischemia/reperfusion models
– Gastrointestinal and mucosal protection — ulcer, colitis, fistula, and NSAID-induced mucosal damage models
– Tendon fibroblast migration — FAK-paxillin phosphorylation and ECM remodeling
– Neuroprotection — spinal cord injury models, ischemic stroke, dopaminergic system interactions - TB-50:
– Cell migration — actin sequestration and MRTF-A nuclear translocation driving SRF-dependent gene expression
– Musculoskeletal repair — tendon, muscle, and connective tissue models
– Angiogenesis — endothelial cell migration and tube formation via actin-dependent mechanisms
– Anti-inflammatory signaling — downregulation of inflammatory mediators in injury models - KP:
– NF-κB inhibition — suppression of pro-inflammatory transcription in gut epithelial and skin models (47 indexed publications)
– Cytokine modulation — reduction of IL-6, IL-8, and TNF-α in inflammatory research contexts
– Mucosal integrity — investigated in colitis and intestinal barrier models
– Melanocortin receptor activity — MC1R and MC3R binding, derived from C-terminal of α-MSH
